Career Services has been busy coordinating a blend of on-campus and virtual engagement opportunities for students to grow their professional networks.
With the spring Career Conference Week running from Monday, Feb. 27, to Friday, March 2, our team hopes your student can participate in the many professional and career events.
- UW-System Career Treks: A virtual series, connecting students to Wisconsin-based employers to discuss career opportunities, pathways and connections.
- Career Conference Prep Week: Five days of programming and support for students to take advantage of upcoming eventsm including days for drop-in resume reviews and a signature Look Good, Feel Good, Do-Good event.
- Spring Career Conference: Offering six industry-specific events for students to connect with potential employers and alumni.
- Art & Design Week: This national award-winning program offers professional portfolio reviews for students in the School of Art and Design.
Encourage your student to log in and update their profile in Handshake to help increase their engagement with employers in the system and ensure they aren’t missing out on opportunities, events and employer connections.
They can explore more in CONNECT and reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org about our Cooperative Education and Internship Program.
Career Services will soon release the 2021-2022 First Destination Report, which shows UW-Stout's employment and continuing education outcomes from undergraduate programs, as well as statistics that demonstrate the impact and success of our students.
