Employer Information

Employer Registration

Registration opens on July 1, 2024 at 8:00am. Register via Handshake to secure your space at the following events:

  • Computing: Data, Software & Security Career Fair: Monday, September 23 (1:00–4:00pm)
  • Packaging, Print & Design Career Fair: Tuesday, September 24 (9:00–11:30am)
  • Science & Engineering Career Fair: Tuesday, September 24 (1:00–4:00pm)
  • Construction Career Fair: Wednesday, September 25 (1:00–4:00pm)
  • Management: Business, Hospitality & Human Sciences Career Fair: Thursday, September 26 (1:00–4:00pm)
Registration Inclusions
  • One 8' x 8' space for two representatives
  • One 6' long table (tablecloth upon request)
  • Two chairs
  • Free Wi-Fi access
  • Electricity/extension cords
  • Parking (in a designated parking lot)
  • Light refreshments
Next-Day On-Campus Interviews (Optional)

Conduct your next-day on-campus interviews (OCI) with students you meet during the career fair. Simply note your request in your registration. Upon approval, it will be noted in your registration confirmation. Space is limited! Questions? Please contact Stef Jax at jaxs@uwstout.edu.

Payment & Invoicing
  • Early Bird Rate: $325 
  • Regular Rate: $375 
  • Non-profit/Government/501(c)(3) Rate: $150

Payment can be made via credit card or check and must be received before the career fair. Failure to pay, or employers with an outstanding balance, will not be approved into the event until payment is made.

Final invoice will reflect the Early Bird Rates and/or Partnership Program discounts if applicable. A receipt will be emailed when payment is accepted/received.

Drop-In Resume Reviews

Get ready for the Career Conference (Sep. 23-26) and review your resume with a UW-Stout Career Coach:

  • 15-minute resume reviews (no appointment needed)
  • Bring print or digital copy of resume
VOLUNTEER AT CAREER CONFERENCE
  • Add to your resume
  • Network with employers attending the fair
  • Use it as an opportunity to learn about the fair
  • Get to know other student volunteers 

Faculty Information

Help support and prepare students
  • Share the canvas Career Conference Canvas Course to students
  • Promote the Blue Devil Prep for Success event
  • Refer students to the Career Success Guide
  • Promote Handshake to view and research employers
  • Assign activities for extra credit or other classroom learning outcome alignment:
    • Career Conference Prep Week events such as Drop-In Resume Reviews or Blue Devil Prep for Success*
    • Attendance to any of the career fairs at Career Conference
  • Encourage students to volunteer for the event - several areas align to academic programs

*Career Services tracks attendance and can provide data requests
