Brief Biography: Dr. Thomas Lacksonen is Professor and Interim Department Chair of Engineering and Technology Department at University of Wisconsin-Stout. He was previously a Fulbright Teaching Fellow to Turkey, where he taught Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. His industrial work experience was at Whirlpool Corporation and Eastman Kodak Company. He has three degrees in industrial engineering, from University of Toledo, University of South Florida, and Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include global and cultural issues in manufacturing systems design, computer simulation games in education, and facilities design.
