Managing Difficult Emotions Online Class

Unresolved negative emotions can cost your team. Whether they are destroying energy, morale, or your ability to work together, these contagious emotions can escalate quickly, eating up valuable resources as they lead to discontent and turnover. In fact, a 2008 study by CPP Inc (the creators of the Meyers-Briggs Assessment) found that interpersonal conflict cost U.S. employees 2.8 hours per week, totaling roughly 358 million work days and approximately $359 billion nationwide. The Cost of Conflict Calculator relies on national averages to estimate the impacts of wasted time, staff turnover, decreased innovation, and legal costs on your business’s bottom line.

This asynchronous online course will help you learn to manage negative emotions, whether your own or a team member's. Dr. Marya Wilson will help you learn strategies to resolve and limit the spread of these negative emotions to help you be an effective leader for your organization."
