UW-Stout's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) offers support to students, faculty, and staff in their research endeavors. We celebrate research every day across our campus in each of our colleges and are proud of our ever-growing researcher population.

Services for Students 

  • Student Research and Dissemination Grants: We offer grant programs to help cover the cost of conducting and sharing results of your research.
  • Journal of Student Research: We publish an annual Journal of Student Research (JSR) that allows you to share your work and gain valuable skills navigating the publishing process.
  • Student Research Events: From national events like the National Conference for Undergraduate Research. to state-wide events like Research in the Rotunda, UW System Symposium, WiSys Quick Pitch, and WiSys Spark Symposium, to campus events like Research Day, we offer opportunities to showcase your discoveries.
