photo of ClaudetteClaudette is an occupational therapist with the Business Network Division. Her professional interests focus on the use of assistive technology for vocational accommodations as well as ergonomics and organization skills development. She was honored to present the keynote address to the Work and Industry Special Interest Section of the American OT Association Conference in April 2016, received the MRS Champion Award – Employee in September 2016 and the Michigan Leadership Award for BND-AC Group in 2017. She developed and managed the Michigan OT Association website for 12 years and is currently the chair of the Friends of OT in Michigan PAC. She was awarded the MiOTA Fellow in 1998 and was inducted into the American OT Association Roster of Fellows in 2022 for her work on behalf of OT at the state and national level. She took a leadership role in establishing the OTs in VR group, a Community of Practice within CSAVR that includes seven states that have OTs within their state VR programs. She served for 16 years on the Portage City Council. Claudette earned a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from Wayne State University.
