At one point in every person's live they will encounter someone in the health care filed, a nurse calming the pain after surgery, a respiratory therapist easing the work of breathing during an asthma attack, or any number of people occupying the front-lines of health care and providing comfort and care, most times to complete strangers known as patients. Our friend Sam Hennessee was known as a giving man. He provided comfort and care to those around him, even to complete strangers. Same was influential to VFW Post 10452 as well as to the people of Green Lake, Marquette, and Waushara counties pursing an education in health care. Funds for this scholarship were made possible by the VFW Run for Sam 10K Run and & 1 Mile Walk participants and sponsors. Amount of reward may be increased pending income donations and increasing number of runners/walkers in the VFW Run for Sam 10k & 1 Mile Walk.
