Spring 2023 Commencement Ceremonies
Spring ceremonies for students who will complete their degree requirements in the Spring 2023 or Summer 2023 terms will be held on Saturday, May 6.
Undergraduate Ceremonies
9:30 a.m. College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Management
1:30 p.m. College of Arts and Human Sciences
Graduate Ceremony Time
5:00 p.m.
For all students graduating from The Graduate School with degrees in Master of Science, Professional Science Master, Educational Specialist, Education Doctoral Degree, or Master of Fine Arts.
Information for Guests
Location: Johnson Field House
220 13th Avenue E
Parking
Parking is available in any lot on campus, except for spots with reserved signs or meters. Lots 4 and 29 are the closest lots to the Johnson Field House. If you park on city streets, please observe signs with parking restrictions. ADA parking is available near the Sports and Fitness Center, please be sure to have your permit visible.
Seating
Each student will receive five tickets. No additional tickets will be available through the Commencement Office. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to the ceremony. All guests will need a ticket to enter the Field House, children 3 and under do not need a ticket. A remote viewing area is available in the Memorial Student Center on the 2nd floor. The ceremony will also be live streamed on the Commencement Website.
ADA Requests
Most of the guest seating will be located on the floor level. If you have a guest with accessibility needs, please fill out the ADA request form.

Graduation Fair
The Spring Grad Fair will be held
Thursday, April 6
10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Ballrooms, Memorial Student Center
This will be the FIRST date, not the ONLY date, to pick-up Commencement tickets!
Students will need their Stout ID card to receive tickets.
After the Grad Fair, Tickets and Honor Cords will still be available at the MSC, Service Center.
Students DO NOT need to attend the grad fair to pick-up their tickets!

CAPS AND GOWNS
Caps and Gowns will be available at Stoutfitters, the campus bookstore
