Invested in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion.

UW-Stout continues to make progress in its equity, diversity and inclusion efforts with the development of an EDI office and the implementation of the EDI Team. We remain committed to our UW-Stout FOCUS2030 goals by investing in and ensuring access to equitable, diverse and inclusive learning, student living and work environments.

Strengthening Our Community through Diversity

The identities of our students and employees are multifaceted and intersectional. As such, our campus strives to actively engage with and see diversity as critical to our university identity.

UW-Stout is committed to inclusive excellence. We aim to cultivate an environment fostering and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accountability at every level of university life. We value diversity intrinsically and for the benefits it brings to our community. We strive to create learning environments in which students, faculty, and staff of all backgrounds can thrive and fulfill their academic, personal, and professional potential in an increasingly diverse global environment.
